Nose: sweet, vanilla, honey, bees wax, crème brûlée, citrus, zest, oranges, marmalade, dark chocolate, furniture wax/ polish, dried fruits - but not too much, raisins, apricots
Palate: gentle, sweet, honey, honeycomb, creamy mouthfeel, fruit, caramel apples, dried fruit, apricots, warm apple sauce, dark chocolate
Finish: medium dry, sweet, honey, long, citrus, marmalade, dark chocolate (with bits of orange and rum in it - yumm), a hint of mint, more drying after some more time.

Conclusion: Note to self: Just buy this (when on sale), pick it from your boss' whisky collection when he invites you over for dinner (do not forget to make a large sample for "research"), or steal it from your local whisky store (no, don't - they are your best friends, and need you for their income). Seriously good stuff.
More info: I clearly have a thing for the year 1976 and even married a girl from that vintage. This one (the whisky, not the Mrs.) matured in first and refill ex-Sherry hogsheads.
