Highland Park. There is a love-hate thing going on with me and the core-range Highland Park expressions. At some moments they are really enjoyable and when that happens, most of the time it is this one.

43% abv, €85, single malt

Nose: floral, sweet, vanilla, fruit, pear, briny, salted butter, red fruit, berries, cranberries, gooseberries

Palate: sweet, honeycomb, fruity, floral, heather, red fruit, berries, cherries, cranberries, blueberries

Finish: dry, sweet, butter, a hint of brininess, medium long, floral, blooming heather
Mark: +++/++ 

Conclusion: quite nice, but I am still not a fan. She is just... there, but doesn't do anything. There is no need to dance on the tables, do karaoke, impress me with movie quotes or play strip poker, but I do expect some form of interaction, now she is just company...
