.highland park - 25yo (2006 bottling)

See what you did there Highland Park? This is much more like it. The actual sample I have tasted is a 25yo bottled in 2006, so I am open for more like that. Let me check my wallet...

48.1% abv, €250, single malt

Nose: sweet, vanilla, marshmallows, ripe fruit, apples, pears, mangos, red berries, leather

Palate: smooth, sweet, honey, medium dry, dried fruit, raisins, cranberries, nuts, specifically walnuts, floral, honeysuckle, heather

Finish: floral, dry, sweet, honey, dried fruits, medium long
Mark: +++++ 

Conclusion: Like I already said, this is more like it! Not having a party just yet, but I sure am entertained now.
